Hello loyal Sweeps fans! I am in need of some data entry and customer service help occasionally. Please reach out if you or anyone you know of are looking for something to do from home or wherever. Paid training, shirts, plus more! Thank you, Amy
**Edited** Hi everyone! Thank you for all of your responses to our request. We have had a tremendous outpouring and I am sorting through my options. Thanks again!
Naperville Chimney Sweeps is in busy season! Call, text, email, or message me to schedule your sweep or evaluation before the holidays have come and gone.
Today I had 4 customers mention they were calling "to get their chimney cleaned, inspected, whatever" because of Rachael Ray. I did not know that her home recently burned down. Our prayers and heart go out to her and John during this time of loss.
I am thankful they are sharing the word for others to properly care for their chimneys though!
Please share the information with your friends and family- not for us to get more business, but so others don't have to experience a devastating loss of a home, priceless possessions, or get injured or worse.
Wodburning fireplaces/chimneys should be evaluated and cleaned every year or more if you burn a lot. Gas log fireplaces still need evaluated too.
*Edited post! Our internet is finally working properly. We are catching up on all things office related. Thank you all!
Our internet is down so our phone system is crazy! Please forgive us and be patient as we figure things out.
@a&acustomwear made our awesome new gear for the fall and winter! Thanks guys!
Naperville Chimney Sweeps can keep you safe by performing a dryer vent cleaning. When was the last time yours was cleaned? The NFPA recommends it be done yearly to prevent house fires. Ask for a "Combo" to get a discount on your chimney sweep and dryer vent cleaning when you call Amy to set up your appointment.

We are taking a well deserved long weekend off. As most of you know all of our sweeps are off-duty firefighters or retired. This year has been a crazy one, so an extra day or so to rest and relax with their families is the least we can do.
We will be back to business Monday, Nov 30th at 8am.
We are so thankful for all that 2020 has given us, especially all of our amazing clients and friends. Enjoy your turkey day!!
Only one more day of November left. This year is moving right along! We will be sweeping 2020 right out and into January of 2021. Give us a call if you are still in need of a sweep or gas log evaluation.
Happy customer to start the day off.

Great guidelines to follow when disposing of ashes from your woodburning fires. BE SAFE!

Lots of residents use their wood-burning fireplaces during the winter months. This picture is from a house fire in Maryland. This is an unfortunate example of what can happen when you improperly dispose of ashes. Fortunately, the family and pets were not hurt, but they did lose everything.
-ALWAYS use the fireplace screen when you have a fire burning.
-Treat ALL ashes and coals as HOT ashes, even when you think they have had enough time to cool.
-Do not discard your ashes into any combustible container such as a paper or plastic bag, a cardboard box, or a plastic trash can.
-Do not place ash containers on decks, porches or in garages.
-Put ashes into a non-combustible METAL container with a lid – and keep it away from your house
-Pour water into the container to make sure the ashes are cool. #StaySafeNaperville

With all the snowfall in the area over the last couple weeks, it is easy for outside vents to become blocked up. If your heating system cannot vent properly, carbon monoxide can build up inside your home. Please check yours to avoid this dangerous situation. #StaySafeNaperville
