Nassau Brass is a well-established brass quintet that originally hails from Princeton, NJ. The quintet is currently celebrating its 24th year as a performing ensemble and continues to hone and expand its lighter side "outdoor repertoire" (complete with drummer!) which includes a wide range of Jazz, Dixieland, Ragtime, Pop, Broadway show tunes, Americana, and traditional Marches.
The Christmas season traditionally finds the quintet strolling about Palmer Square in Princeton as part of an annual weekend Holiday Entertainment Series. The ensemble continues to be featured regularly as part of a Summer Music Series that takes place on the Palmer Square Green every Saturday during the months of July and August.
Nassau Brass will usher in its 2014 season on Sunday, June 8th, with a performance at the Peddler's Village annual Fine Art & Contemporary Crafts Show in Lahaska, Bucks County, PA. Additional performances will take place at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton Township, NJ, and at the Carnegie Center, Princeton Summer Lunchtime Concert Series, sponsored by Boston Properties.
