More than 400,000 children go missing in the U.S. each year. The most important tool to help law enforcement when a child goes missing is a current photograph. NAESP is passionate about the SmileSafe program by Lifetouch, in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). This program provides a complimentary SmileSafe photo ID card to all students photographed on Picture Day. In this video, NAESP Executive Director L. Earl Franks, Ed.D., CAE; Callahan Walsh, director of NCMEC; and Lifetouch share how a current student photo is essential in the safety of students. Watch now!
