Boeing has completed its latest ecoDemonstrator flight trials centering on noise, airspace routing efficiency, and cabin disinfection. With environmental stability and safety in mind, the testing also demonstrated a system meant to more accurately guide flights around hazards such as storms, allowing pilots to better plan their routes and more quickly arrive at their destinations.

The US and Bangladesh have signed an open skies agreement to establish direct aviation ties. According to a statement by the US Department of State, the deal includes “unrestricted capacity and frequency of services, open route rights, a liberal charter regime, and codesharing opportunities.”
An open skies agreement is an agreement between two countries in which both nations commit to fair, honest aviation practices. It urges cooperation, and will be subject to a FAA investigation to check safety and security standards.

The U.S. Navy has recovered an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter off the coast of Japan after it sunk last year in January. All crew members managed to escape the accident.
Surprisingly, the Seahawk looks like it's in good condition. The aircraft will be transported back to the U.S. and thoroughly examined by investigators to learn what went wrong during flight. You can read more about the extensive rescue mission, too!
