GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES The objective of this position is to communicate, build strong relationships, educate and follow up with clients and referral sources in the Metro Detroit area. This position requires lots of coordination with, clients, clinician, caregivers assuring timely care is provided to our clients. Comply with all organization policies & procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Demonstrate commitment and professional growth by participating regularly in organization in-service programs. Collect and maintain statistical data on all referrals. Attends meetings and participates on committees as required. Verify insurance and obtain insurance authorizations as appropriate. Coordinate with clinical staff to schedule admission visits. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: One (1) year of medical administrative work experience preferred. Demonstrates the ability to utilize computer systems including electronic medical records systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc. Self-directed and able to multitask with minimal supervision.
