On this #FutureTeachersofAmerica Day, we’re highlighting NU alum and teacher Abigail J. 🍎
Abigail graduated with a master’s in teaching and a specialization in educational technology. She says, “During Covid-19 distance learning, I have been able to implement my knowledge in educational technology to support my students and families remotely.” Her favorite part about being a teacher is building relationships with students and their families. 🙌

Written by Cindy Morgan and Kimberly Mitchell, “Old Glory” displays Kim’s dedication to Vietnam era veterans through her experience assisting with the Old Glory Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight, which takes these veterans on an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. and returns them home as heroes to the AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
