Happy 1st day of school! We were so lucky to have a bunch of awesome teachers and other school district employees step up and take Meals on Wheels routes when school closed last March. That being said, we currently have a great need for volunteer drivers. We have routes available Monday through Friday and deliveries are typically made between the hours of 10am and 1pm. Most routes take less than an hour of your time. We are still only delivering to coolers that are set outside of our recipient鈥檚 doors as a way to limit contact and exposure for both our volunteers and recipients. If you鈥檙e interested in taking on a Meals on Wheels route once a week, please call Debbie, our Volunteer Coordinator, at 307-265-8659.
Natrona County Meals On Wheels has been chosen by the Casper Boat Club as the beneficiary of the 2020 Poker Run at Alcova Lake on July 25th! This is a SUPER fun event and you do not have to be a member of the Casper Boat Club to participate. If you have any questions about participating or sponsorships, please call Meals on Wheels at 265-8659.

Due to COVID-19, we have had to revamp the way that we do some things in an effort to keep all of our volunteers, staff, and especially our recipients safe. Mike Brelsford has been a Meals on Wheels volunteer for 18 years and since the middle of March, some weeks Mike has volunteered 5 days a week carrying out cooler bags to our volunteers in the parking lot and delivering meals to recipients. He continues to #ShowUsWy we have THE BEST volunteers. Please consider a donation to Natrona County Meals on Wheels to help us ensure that no senior goes hungry. #WyoGives https://www.wyogives.org/organizations/natrona-county-meals-on-wheels
