This week has brought some beautiful warm weather, but it's still important to get those sprinkler systems winterized. (We did ours yesterday.) We all know how fickle Nebraska weather can be and freezing temps in October are all but inevitable. If you haven't scheduled your winterization yet give us a call at 402-334-2625.
Cold weather is here! If you haven't had your sprinklers winterized yet there are steps you can take to help protect your backflow. First, turn off the water to the system and open the drain. Then, use old towels or blankets to wrap up the backflow and copper pipes. Finally, use a tarp or even a trash bag to keep everything dry.
Taking a few minutes to wrap up your backflow could save you from costly repairs in the spring.

Don't forget that we'll have our first widespread hard freeze in the area tonight. Temps will easily dip in the mid 20s. Cold enough to freeze exposed pipes and garden hoses. Winterize what you need to today!

On Monday, November 16th our office will be switching to Winter Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday.
The answering service will continue to take calls after hours, and we can be reached via email or Facebook Messenger.
When we look beyond the turkey and the stuffing, the parades and the football games, Thanksgiving is a day to be conscious in our gratitude.
