During these unprecedented times, Nazare Memorial Home is here with compassion and empathy for our community. As always, we are available 24/7 should you have any questions, concerns, or the loss of a loved one. We are able to make arrangements over the phone or through email if necessary and are following the recommendations put forth by the CDC and the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association.
COVID-19 has certainly affected how funerals are now being conducted. We respectfully ask that if you or anyone in your family is not feeling well that you do not come to the funeral home for arrangements or in attendance of a viewing or funeral. Although the restrictions and policies have been changing, the details below explain what is currently being allowed at funeral homes in New Jersey.
With Governor Murphy's newest executive order, we are now allowed to have up to 100 people in our funeral home for viewings and funeral services. It is required for everyone entering the funeral home to wear a mask or face covering and practice proper social distancing guidelines, such as avoiding physical contact and remaining six feet apart from one another.
If you are unable to attend a funeral because of the restrictions above, please visit our website where you can leave your condolences under each obituary. Although these are difficult and stressful times for all, we will come through together if we follow the appropriate guidelines provided to us.
