About Us
Neel Parekh, MD, is a fellowship-trained, Men's Health and Male Fertility specialist at his practice locations in Akron, Medina, and Strongsville, Ohio.
Dr. Parekh graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown after an accelerated seven-year baccalaureate and medical doctorate program. Dr. Parekh completed his urologic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, receiving the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction and Society for Sexual Medicine Society of North America Men’s Health Traveling Fellow Award. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Male Infertility and Men’s Health at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Parekh is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Ohio Urological Society, the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, and the American Urological Association.
Dr. Parekh is the only urologist in the Akron, Ohio, area who is fellowship-trained in penile prosthetic surgery. He offers other cutting-edge procedures including microscopic spermatic denervation for men with chronic testicular pain, microscopic vasectomy reversal, microscopic testicular sperm extraction, UroLift® and Rezūm™ procedures for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), low-intensity shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction, and microscopic varicocelectomy.
