Joining Northwell Health in 2017, Neelima R Thakur MBBS, is a board-certified epileptologist with clinical interests that include refractory epilepsy, video EEG monitoring of epilepsy patients and antiepileptic medication management. Dr. Thakur earned her medical degree at Rangaraya Medical College and completed her neurology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Following her residency, Dr. Thakur completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy/EEG at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Thakur is sensitive to the needs of her patients and their families and is dedicated to providing expert care. She is fluent in both English and Hindi.
