Neighborhood Music has been providing several types of lesson including piano, violin, and viola. Emphasis is placed on patience, encouragement, and motivation. Experience includes teaching music and orchestra at the private, elementary, junior high, high school, and college levels. This is especially fun for the students who do not have orchestra at school. Dr. Sward has a Bachelor's degree from Knox College, and Masters and Doctorate degrees in Music from Northwestern University. She has many years of teaching experience at public and private venues: elementary, junior high, high school, college and beyond.
