Ask yourself, "what helps me feel like I belong in my family/friend group"? Now take a moment and reach out in a similar way to a friend or family member. Show that you care about them. Here is a few ideas on how to show kindness: send a text, write a card/letter, bake something and give it away, invite someone to join you on a picnic. What are other ways that you connect with others?
Remembering those who lost their lives.
The quality of your social connections is more important than the quantity of connections. Reach out and tell someone that you care about them. Express appreciation to family and friends for how they help you. We are stronger together, it's time to build our community. It starts with you by reaching out to one person. How have you reached out today?
It's time to connect with neighbors and your community. Connecting with others daily is like a taking your daily multivitamin. Connections give you a chance to laugh, empathize, and love. Just like drinking water everyday, connecting with others is essential. How are you going to connect with someone today?
Connections matter! People are happier and healthier when they have strong ties to family, friends, and the community. Put in a little effort today to connect. Here are some ideas: Join an online workout class, walk your dog and meet others, invite someone out for lunch, or volunteer with the red cross or with the youth programs.
