Words cannot describe what this place in Tyler has done for me. I have had Neuropathy for 23 years and suffered with the pain of stinging, tingling, burning and numbness, day and night all those years in my legs and feet. I have NO pain in my legs anymore.
I just completed 30 treatments. When I started my treatments, my average pain level was an 8/9, day and night. Now my pain level is a 2/3 and I don't have pain day and night like I used to. It is just at night and it's so little compared to what it used to be. (It's not every night though).
If you suffer with Neuropathy, I highly recommend these treatments. I have Medicare and an insurance supplement and it did not cost me a penny for 30 treatments and evaluations.
The staff at Neuropathy Treatment Clinics of Texas Tyler could not have been nicer and they take their job very seriously. If you are suffering, please go see them, you'll be glad you did!!!

These Southwest Stuffed Sweet Potatoes are a delicious fall meal!
Sweet Potatoes are amazing because are a good source of fiber, they also contain an array of vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, selenium, and they're a good source of most of our B vitamins and vitamin C. Sweet potatoes are incredibly rich in beta-carotene, the antioxidant responsible for the vegetable's bright orange color. In fact, one cup (200 grams) of baked orange sweet potato with skin provides more than seven times the amount of beta-carotene that the average adult needs per day. The human body converts beta carotene into vitamin A. We need vitamin A for healthy skin and mucus membranes, our immune system, and good eye health and vision.

Why is stretching important?
Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way.

October is #BreastCancerAwareness Month. Check out the link below get more information on breast cancer education.
Some chemotherapy drugs and other treatments for cancer can cause chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). The damage to the peripheral nerves from chemotherapy drugs can last for weeks, months, or even years. Chemotherapeutic agents, depending on the individual compounds, can cause a variety of neuropathies with reported CIPN rates as high as 85%. Chemotherapy patients/survivors may also experience lymphedema as a side effect to surgical removal of the lymph nodes or damage due to radiation cancer treatment.
If you suffer from CIPN or Lymphedema we are here to help! If you would like more information or have any questions you can visit our website www.stopnervepain.com or call us at 972-920-6968

Yoga is a great way to get up and moving without serious demand on your body. Researchers note that yoga is beneficial in reducing stress levels, blood pressure, and inflammation, all of which can affect the progression of diabetes-related neuropathy. And although yoga might feel less intense compared with cycling or strength training, it still gets your heart pumping and can build muscle.
There are certain stretches and poses that can help with neuropathy pain. Click this link to see some examples of yoga poses that can help with neuropathy pain. https://nervepainguide.org/yoga-exercises-for-neuropathy/

Researchers continue to explore the effects of positive thinking and optimism on health. Health benefits that positive thinking may provide include:
- Increased life span
- Lower rates of depression
- Lower levels of distress
- Greater resistance to the common cold
- Better psychological and physical well-being
- Better cardiovascular health and reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
- Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress
It's unclear why people who engage in positive thinking experience these health benefits. One theory is that having a positive outlook enables you to cope better with stressful situations, which reduces the harmful health effects of stress on your body.
It's also thought that positive and optimistic people tend to live healthier lifestyles — they get more physical activity, follow a healthier diet, and don't smoke or drink alcohol in excess. So, make an effort to find something positive everyday!
