We know, that you know, we've been extra busy..here's a helpful, informative video explaining a few reasons why. We are doing our best to keep your pets and our team healthy. We appreciate everyone's patience during this crazy time. Thank you!!! VINx VetTools September 23 at 1:19 PM · Veterinary friends: this video we’ve created for you to share with your clients is a love letter from us to you. We’ve watched in awe and gratitude for the past 6 months as you all have given everything you’ve got - and then some - to care for your community’s pets in the face of a pandemic. We hope this video will help you share your story with your clients, so they can better understand and appreciate the unprecedented challenges you’ve faced and how they may have affected their recent experiences with your practice. Most importantly, it reinforces that while some of your approaches may have changed, your commitment to your patients hasn’t wavered. Thank you for everything you do, every single day. - Your friends at VINx 😊 www.vin.com/VINx #veterinary #veterinarian #vetmed #vettools

Good advice...#nostickytraps Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is with Kim Cook. September 22 at 9:44 PM · Today is the 1st Day of Fall! 🍁 As temperatures start to get cooler, animals will seek shelter in non ideal locations. We understand that people don’t want mice, snakes, lizards..in their home. However, please NEVER use sticky traps or rodenticides. They are inhumane and the animal suffers a slow and painful death. Instead use live traps, ultrasonic repellers, and unpleasant scents. Just a friendly reminder that we share this planet with our animal friends. #coexistpeacefully Other humane options but not limited to the following: *Peppermint Oil *Steel Wool *Rodent Repellent sprays sold online *Irish Spring bars cut up *Rolling Log Mouse Traps (no water) *Catch & Release Mouse Traps

Toys are important to your pet’s wellbeing; they provide entertainment and comfort. As pets play with any object they can get their paws on, ensure their safety. 🐾 · Pet-proof your home by removing string, ribbon, rubber bands and children’s toys from their reach. · If you’re planning on buying them a new toy, make sure it’s the appropriate size. Toys that are too small can easily be swallowed or become lodged in your pet’s throat. · Make sure to discard toys when they start to break or are torn.
Let's hear what they'd be!! Lol
New Year’s Eve celebrations may include loud noises; which can be terrifying for pets and may cause them to escape and become lost. Here are some ways to help keep them safe. ✔️ Secure pets in a comfy place indoors ✔️ Make sure all pets have ID tags ✔️ Keep alcohol out of paws reach PLUS beware of NYE decorations like streamers, noisemakers, tinsel, and balloons. Keep them away from pets to avoid ingestion.
Best year ever Buddy!....share a photo of your #1 fan!! #perspective. 😊🥰❤🐈🐩🐈🐇🦜🐢🐦🐤🦎

Here’s more information below 👉 Potential causes: Food or environmental allergies, parasites, bacterial or fungal infections, systemic disorders, cold weather, poor nutrition, or bathing habits. 👉 Treatment: Treatment depends on the cause, therefore it’s best to see your veterinarian for an accurate diagnosis.

New England Animal Medical Center has been using Seresto collars for years. We still believe Seresto collars are safe and effective, and many of our doctors and staff continue to use these collars as part of their approach to tick control. Lyme disease and other tick diseases have a high prevalence in our area, and animals with exposure to the outside should be protected, in some way, from ticks. Please read the following information from Elanco the manufacturer of the Seresto collars. As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure strong client-patient relationships, we want you, the client, to be comfortable with the choices you make to treat your pets, therefore If you have any questions or would like to talk about alternative tick control options, please call the primary care department to discuss this further. The primary care department is open from 8-8 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and from 8 to 4 on Friday and Saturday.
