We are taking every precaution necessary to keep everyone safe and everything clean, but we remain open. We are closing our office/store early each day. However, we still have people in our park that are here for the duration, and we are with them. If you need a place to stay, we are open. We don't have large groups of people in one area. Just wanted to update you all, as we know many parks are shutting down or have been shut down. We will remain open. Our shuttle remains closed for now.
We are out of danger here. If you need to evacuate, we are open & have space. Stay safe. You are all in our thoughts.

UPDATE as of Nov. 1st: Power has been restored to the park, as have our phones, internet & cable. We still have a tree down at the front entrance, with power lines, so we ask you to be careful coming in and out. Otherwise back to normal. Thank you for your patience. UPDATE: We are still without power to half the park & still without access to phones, internet or cable. Please continue to be patient with us. Thank you. We are open, power to half of the park is back on. Thank you all for your patience, as we have been without power, phones, and internet since yesterday.

For all those inquiring, yes, Mardi Gras parades are cancelled this year. However, this is the Big Easy. You can't cancel Mardi Gras completely. If you were wondering whether or not you should come, if there will be anything to see or do, feast your eyes on this. New Orleanians decided to turn their homes into floats, all over the city. This city never lays down & gives up. New Orleans ALWAYS is a sight to see! https://www.facebook.com/stories/1801253366617822/UzpfSVNDOjEwMTU5MTQ2NDE3NzAyNzAw/?view_single=1&source=shared_permalink
