Our towering structure, housing 320 beds and a new breathtaking glass-domed solarium, is a beacon of restorative health in Staten Island and its environs.
We've opened up new vistas for our residents and patients with the construction of our airy, sun-lit Rehab Solarium – home to our world-class rehabilitation unit. Nestled within the leafy foliage of our courtyard, the solarium provides a breath of fresh air by bringing the outdoors in while residents undergo intensive physical or occupational therapy. Strokes, hip fractures, joint replacement, arthritis, parkinson's and multi sclerosis are some of the most common conditions we treat.
Centrally situated and right near the Verrazano Bridge, New Vanderbilt is easily accessible from NY and NJ.
New Vanderbilt features fabulously large rooms with no more than two beds in each, a unique equation for a facility of its kind. Residents enjoy spectacular views of the New York Bay and the Manhattan skyline.
The New Vanderbilt is also home to seniors in need of long-term nursing care. Their quality of life is enhanced by the outstanding level of care they receive. Residents and loved ones are encouraged to participate in our active Resident and Family Council.
We are proud members of the NY State Health Facilities Association and Island Peer Review Organization, Inc.
