Liliana Manrique, MD is a board-certified physician and the founder of NewEraLift, specializing in minimally invasive aesthetic medicine at NewEraLift in Vienna and Tysons Corner, Virginia. Best known for her European conservative and natural approach to facial rejuvenation, she has over 20 years of experience practicing these techniques in Europe, Colombia, and the United States.
Dr. Manrique has been at the forefront of aesthetic medicine, sought out by patients all over the Washington, DC metropolitan area for non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Men and women alike have flocked to her for her technique of treating patients to achieve a natural result. Many have become life-long patients because while she is extremely talented, she is also gentle, caring and genuinely interested in helping each and every patient achieve their aesthetic best.
It’s understandable that the artistic quality and ability she so fluently applies to treating her patients comes naturally. Born in Colombia, Dr. Manrique recalls countless hours spent lovingly watching her mother paint in watercolors and acrylics. “Sometimes I painted, but I discovered a natural ability and developed a love for sculpting, which is no doubt where my talents in liposcultpure were born”. Any free time was also spent involved in many health campaigns for under served communities.
At only 16 years of age, Dr. Manrique started medical school. She went on to graduate with honors in medicine and surgery from the University of Valle. While practicing in Colombia, Dr. Manrique served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. As co-founder of Clinica Los Cedros, she specialized in early detection and surgery for breast and OBGYN related cancer.
Dr. Manrique completed training in cosmetic surgery in Madrid, Spain where she continues to be licensed to practice medicine and surgery. She went on to work in non-surgical rejuvenation at the prestigious French Association of Aesthetic Medicine as a fellow to two world renowned clinical leaders including Dr. Pierre Fournier, president of the association and Dr. M. Ripoll, who is recognized for his topographic approach in liposculpture.
Dr. Manrique completed her medical training at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York, in affiliation with SUNY Downstate University where she served as chief resident in the Internal Medicine Department.
