Newks was founded in 2004 by Don Newcomb, Debra Bryson and Chris Newcomb. The team had previously created and launched the McAlisters Deli concept. Led by their exacting and trend-setting vision, it quickly became one of the fastest growing fast casual restaurants of the time. After establishing strong upward growth for McAlisters Deli, the founding team sold the chain and soon began to focus on their new venture Newks Eatery.
