This expecting mom and I had so much fun photographing her maternity session. She chose one of our #fillyboo dresses from the studio wardrobe and it looked amazing on her!

The one thing you should never trust a yellow lab with....
TRUST... that he will babysit your child. He will be a pillow, a blanket, a friend, a swim partner and a cold weather buddy.
The words that yellow pup loved to hear, “Come on Champ,” from his four year old boy’s voice.
TRUST... that he will be a patient teacher. He will teach your child responsibility, he will teach him ball, wrestling and bravery. After all someone has to go first in the woods to rustle up snakes that may get under his boys feet.
That dog’s favorite words, “ Come on Champ.”
TRUST... that season after season he will heel and sit ready in the dove field beside his boy, even though he never really loved the sound of a gun shot.
“Hunt’em up ...” are the words he waits to hear.
TRUST... that he will follow your teen son to the ends of the earth. No matter what the plans, he is ready to “load up.”
TRUST... that when your child, and his boy goes to college he will sit with you on the steps waiting to hear the sound of the truck coming up the drive. No matter how old and frail he is, a country mile isn’t to far to walk to get a pat on the head from his boy, “Good dog.”
TRUST... that his love for his boy never waivers.
TRUST... that in his last day he was still teaching and reminding us that this world is not our true home. We are Gods and He will call us all one day.
I am so thankful for that old yellow dog, BUT....
of all the things I trusted that old yellow dog with, I should have NEVER trusted him with MY heart.

This weekend was gorgeous ya'll! Is it my imagination or are the leaves changing color quickly and falling from the trees quicker this year? The drive into the studio is amazing! The wind sends the leaves swirling around and the horses are always up at the fence to greet me :)
A client/friend came to see me last week and said "Brandy has moved to a farm and I am sure she is loving it!" (She is an uptown girl with a show stopper home.She knows who she is "E.") She is 100% correct. Although it really isn't a true working farm with farm animals I would have all of them if hubs would agree:) For now I will be happy nestled into these large oaks with the fall leaves flying.
I am loving this yellow maternity gown for fall moms.

I spent the evening with these sweet, beautiful children. I was super happy when they decided to come back again this week for a quick (cousin)session after seeing them the first of the week for a newborn session. At the end of our time together today the oldest brother was blowing me kisses.......kids are the best!

As we moved thru her maternity session she said to me with each dress change that she felt like someone different....the first gown she felt like Rose in the Titantic, this gown she felt like a glamorous Hollywood actress and I can't remember what she said for the others....maybe she will chime in and remind me.
