Good Morning! We are hoping someone in our community can recommend a reliable and responsive contractor that we can refer our homeowners to. The company we used in the past has unfortunately gone out of business due to COVID. Our projects sometimes involve taking out sections of ceilings or walls in order to install new plumbing or HVAC fixtures, so we are looking for a contractor that would be able to patch and paint the sections that get removed. Depending upon its age and condition, replacing your old heating system with a new, high efficiency gas furnace would be very beneficial to your home. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, be able to multi-task and execute standard processes with minimal supervision. Industry knowledge of or experience with plumbing or HVAC is a plus but not required.
This will be an intellectually demanding position requiring a blend of reasoning and problem-solving skills with empathy and compassion for customers in need. Using custom office software, this role is responsible for the successful organization and preparation of service calls conducted by our field staff.
Our days are fast paced and very active! Candidates will need to possess a high energy level and embrace change and growth within an organization. New ideas are welcomed and encouraged.
This position is full time Monday-Friday, and increased volume during peak seasons can require overtime in order to ensure all our customers receive the very best service possible. Each day will require addressing unique issues and situations for our customers and using critical thinking to execute jobs as efficiently and seamlessly as possible. We are a largely paperless office, so a high level of comfort working with Microsoft Office and general technology (cell phones, iPads, etc.) is required to be successful in this role. As a Customer Experience Specialist you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers that call in to request service in their home. You will be responsible for taking clear notes based on customer's input, obtaining pertinent information to maximize efficient dispatching, answering questions about company policies, and making sure every customer receives the highest level of service possible. You are the glue that holds the service department together!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and be able to remain calm and composed. You must be able to multi-task and execute standard processes with minimal supervision.
- Receive calls and record significant information in job script
- Address concerns or issues by relaying appropriate information and offering solutions.
- Prioritize calls and tasks according to urgency and importance.
- Enter data into software and maintain accurate, up-to-the-minute notes of any call, email, and actions taken for every service call.
- Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures
- Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional
REQUIRMENTS
- Possess sound judgement and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable talking with people from all backgrounds - be it the customer, other members of office staff, field staff, town inspectors, etc.

Nicholson introduced Electrical services about three years ago. Since then we have been handling jobs for circuit panels, lighting, wiring, installing generators and repairs.
💡 Check out one of our recent jobs in Medway, Mass. Our Electrical team installed recess lighting in their office and kitchen. The Customer wanted to do away with flush mount fixture in kitchen and replace with 5 recess lights and 1 more to replace light above sink. In the office, he did away with old ceiling fan and installed 4 four inch LED recess lights.
