Dr. Changawala is a pulmonologist at The Lung Center of Nevada who treats patients with lung disease and sleep disorders including asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, chronic cough, nicotine dependence, snoring, insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea.
In June 2015, Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) and The Lung Center of Nevada joined forces creating an entire division dedicated to lung disease and sleep disorders at CCCN.
Dr. Changawala has authored various articles and participated in a number of research studies focusing on pulmonary disease. He was an instructor for internal medicine board review lectures and has facilitated simulation scenarios in advanced cardiac life support, rapid response team, central venous catheter placement and airway management.
