Dr. Koradia is an interventional and structural cardiologist who treats patients with coronary artery disease, structural cardiovascular disease, venous thromboembolism and peripheral vascular disease. He is clinically interested in management of acute myocardial Infarction, cardiogenic shock, valvular heart disease and pulmonary embolism. He is skilled and experienced in performing complex coronary interventions, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Left Atrial Appendage Closure ('Watchman' procedure) and peripheral arterial and venous interventions. He is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor - Internal Medicine/Cardiology at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania.
He received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. His internal medicine residency was completed at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He also finished a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is certified by National Board of Echocardiography and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also certified as Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
