On March 26, we learned one of our employees at our Nordstrom The Westchester is suspected of having COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). This employee is in quarantine at home and we’re in regular communication to ensure they have the support they need. The employee hasn’t been in our store since Friday, March 20.
The health and safety of our employees, customers and community is our top priority. While our stores have been temporarily closed since March 17, as soon as we learned about the diagnosis, we took immediate steps to help prevent the potential spread of the illness, including additional cleaning and sanitizing of our store. We’ve reached out to our employees and want to ensure you are informed as well.
