North Boston Oral & Facial Surgery was established in 2014 by Bart Blaeser, MD, DMD. The practice was established and remains under the direction of Dr. Blaeser and James Kraus, DMD. Dr. Kraus became a partner in the practice in 2017. Both Dr. Blaeser and Dr. Kraus are well established on the North Shore. Dr. Blaeser graduated from Harvard Dental and Medical School with OMFS training at the Mass General Hospital and is currently the Chief of Oral Surgery at the North Shore Medical Center. Dr. Kraus received his professional training at Tufts Dental, Tufts Medical Center and The Royal Children's Hospital and holds hospital appointments at Anna Jaques (Newburyport), North Shore Medical Center and North Shore Childrens Hospital (in Salem, MA), and Tufts Medical Center (Boston).
