- Sudden changes in weight, especially weight loss
- Lumps, bumps or skin discolorations
- Non-healing wounds or sores

MYTH: A flea collar will prevent all problems.
TRUTH: Sorry, nope! Many collars can actually cause allergic reactions.
MYTH: Garlic is an effective dietary aid for preventing fleas and ticks.
TRUTH: Feeding your pet garlic will not prevent flea and tick infestations any more than you eating garlic will protect you from vampires. 🧛♂️
MYTH: Fleas and ticks are normal and won't hurt my pet.
TRUTH: Reality check: Ticks can transmit many diseases, including canine ehrlichiosis, a.k.a. tick fever.

Cats get a reputation for being disinterested, but cats do show affection towards their humans:
😻Tail position - upright with a slight curve means a happy cat
😻Vocalization - purring or meowing directly at you
😻Eye contact - cats often make eye contact with people they like
😻Cheek rubs and head butts - a way to build bonds and show affection
Does your Valentine have smelly breath? If it's your pet, they may be due for a cleaning. 🐶🐱 It's National Pet Dental Health Month, a great time to learn about the importance of your pet's dental health.
Hiking in Arizona is among one of the favorite activities for families, and that includes your dog too!

Brushing your cat’s teeth daily is best, but a minimum of at least 2-3 times a week; avoid human toothpaste, but select a pet-specific kind. These will come in flavors that your pet will accept (fish and poultry). It is recommended that you ease into brushing over 1-2 months.

If you have ever wondered how your dog communicates his or her love for you, we've got the answer! A few behaviors can demonstrate a dog's love:
🐶Nosing - nudging you with their nose
🐶Eye contact - can be a display of trust
🐶Sighing - a sign of contentment
🐶Licking - their form of kisses
🐶Jumping - an act of enthusiasm
🐶Leaning - kind of like a full-body hug
