Job Summary: Under the supervision of the registered nurse, the NA will assist patients across the age continuum (4 weeks to geriatric) with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to patients and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. The NA must demonstrate the ability to provide clerical support and receptionist duties to enhance delivery of patient care. The NA must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance. This position is Monday-Friday 2p-10p. Responsibilities and Duties: • Assures housekeeping supplies are stocked daily and according to established PAR levels • Floor tech - cleaning, buffering, scrubbing, and waxing floors • Trash pickup • Performs proper terminal cleaning daily per hospital policy and procedure • Demonstrates proper decontamination of clinical areas, equipment, and non-disposable supplies according to hospital policies and procedures • Recommends appropriate revisions to new or existing policies and procedures when appropriate and as needed • Assists with maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment, adheres to safety and infection control requirements • Maintains proper attire while in the operating room and restricted areas; including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) • Follows standard precautions and safe practices in handling of bio hazardous material, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) • Maintains janitorial closets in a clean and orderly fashion to prevent a hazardous environment. • Post appropriate safety signs to assure a safe environment is maintained for patients, visitors, and all staff • Reports all chemical spills immediately to management and understands MDRO sheets in case of exposure • Assures that chemicals are used, stored and maintained in a safe manner according to manufacturers recommendations and reports any hazardous conditions immediately • Keeps the patient environment clean at all times using standard procedures in cleaning and maintenance of rooms, offices and common areas • Identifies potential risks to patients in order to reduce incidence of injury; identifies actions to eliminate, minimize or report risks; identifies procedures to follow in the event of an incident; reports processes for common problems, failures and user errors • Adheres to all Hospital Policies and Procedures, specifically Guidelines for Appropriate Conduct, Corporate Compliance, Diversity, and Confidentiality Skills and Abilities: • Must demonstrate the spirit of the philosophy, mission and values of the hospital through words and actions and implements them into departmental processes, programs, and the working environment • Must maintain positive working relationships and foster a cooperative work environment • Must display honesty and mutual respect when communicating with peers and other departments • Must follow through on problems that may compromise effective job performance by using appropriate chain of command. Job Summary- The CT Technologist is responsible for providing to the patient the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint. The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures in the Radiology Department and provides specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols. The Tech is responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and to provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the Mission of the hospital. The Tech is responsible for the supplies and equipment of the department. The Tech participates in the department functions and the hospital performance improvement activities.
