Most Interesting Case of the Weekend Award goes to this handsome fellow and his little fox friend 馃弳
Clyde's family brought him to see us Sunday night after he had vomited up multiple limbs of their daughter's stuffed bear. With that information and his history of eating anything he can fit in his mouth, our doctor decided radiographs were the way to go. Lo and behold, foreign material was clearly present in the stomach, so to surgery we went!
Going in, we expecting to find the remaining body of his victim, Mr. Bear, but what we discovered was very surprising: a 20" long fox chew toy that was completely intact, squeakers and all. No chew marks or holes were noted on it. He swallowed this toy whole 馃く Needless to say, his parents were just as surprised as we were.
After a smooth surgery and recovery, Clyde was back to his happy, silly self, with the exception of a little grogginess from his pain meds. He was such a sweet patient, and we wish him a super speedy recovery at home 鉂わ笍

Thank you so much to Dr. Mounts for taking care of my Jake. This week we had our first visit to NHAH the staff was so friendly and helpful, and treated Jake like a baby!
