North Kenilworth is excited to host an outdoor reception to celebrate Dr. Holmes' retirement and his many years of service to the Phoenix veterinary community. We are also eager to give clients an opportunity to meet Dr. Nicole Young, who will be stepping into the role of Medical Director.
Friends and clients of Dr Holmes who are unable to attend or are experiencing symptoms of Covid are encouraged to submit stories, photos, and memories to help us celebrate and show appreciation for the compassionate service that Dr. Holmes has provided to our furry loved ones over the years.

All of our dental procedures include full mouth x-rays, we love radiographs! They help identify problems we can't see with the naked eye.
Bella had a routine dental cleaning in December but to our surprise she had a broken lower molar.
This is a source of pain for her and we extracted that big guy out!

We see an increase of lily toxicity during this time of year and ask to be cautious of the plants you bring in your home.
Lilies are beautiful but are a serious danger to cats and certain varieties are highly toxic to dogs, too.
Wondering if your house plant is toxic?
The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center has a resourceful website to look up to 300 potentially harmful substances.
Worse case scenario you can call them directly, they are available 24/7 by phone (75$ consultation fee may apply).
Always call us or email us if you have any questions to potential substances your pet might be exposed to.
