Northgate pet clinic and veterinary dentistry is a full-service aaha (american animal hospital associaton) facility. Most veterinary clinics do not qualify as such, and regular inspections are performed to ensure that we live up to aaha standards. We have six state-certified veterinary technicians, each graduating from a two or three year college technician program. They have devoted their careers to animal care--and each of them cares! Our facilities include both digital dental and digital whole-body radiology that can give us an x-ray image on a computer screen in just six seconds--and you are welcome to take the image with you on a cd that we can prepare for you at no additional fee. There are no other clinics with these capablilites that we know of, in central illinois, at this time. We are members of the specialists veterinary information network, comprising hundreds of specialists and thousands of veterinarians who can help and suggest solutions for difficult cases in a matter of hours. We have modern contemporary ultrasound equipment for diagnosing pregnancy, pathologic changes in major body organs, and other important changes in your pet's body. We are also one of few clinics that has bone-plating equipment so we can offer the best of care when it comes to bone fractures and other bone repairs. Our 24 computers are all capable of networking with each other so all cases, records, x-rays, and vin information can be accessed on any of the computers.
