Alice was all smiles when she was in a few weeks ago to "chase out her cavity bugs" 😀
We hope you all have a happy and safe labor day weekend!
Here at Northwoods Dental Clinic your health and safety are our top concern. We have installed many new protocols following the guidelines from the CDC, ADA, WDA, and WHO. These include, temperature checks, and hand sanitizer upon entering our facility and a peroxide based mouth rinse prior to your treatment. We also have ionic and UV light air purifiers in each room that kills all bacteria and virus's several times an hour. We have installed easy to clean flooring and removed all touchable surfaces (ie. magazines and books) in the waiting room. Patients are socially distanced in the waiting area and the area is sanitized regularly. We probably have the cleanest, and safest office in the area!
We look forward to continuing to offer top notch dental care to you and your family!
Hello everyone! We hope you are all staying healthy during this crazy time. Although we are closed for the time being we hope to open again May 11th (we have to make sure we have all the supplies we need by this date). That being said there will be some new procedures to protect not only yourself but us as well. Those will be as follows:
We will be calling you to reschedule your canceled appointment, and asking if you have had a fever, cough, or sickness. We will also ask if you have traveled recently
We will also instruct you to arrive exactly (or as close to) your scheduled appointment. time, wait in your car once you arrive and give us a call so we can bring out any necessary paperwork or let you know when we are ready for you to come in.
We will have you use hand sanitizer BEFORE and AFTER your appointment.
We also will be taking your temperature, and asking again if you have any symptoms or have traveled.
We have also will have UV air filters to help clean the air and reduce the aerosols while we are working.
We will also be wearing more PPE: N95 face masks, goggles, surgical caps, face shields, and gowns.
We also will be using a new type of suction to help reduce aerosols while working.
We also will have a "sanitation station" where pens, clipboards, ect. will be wiped down after each use.
Here at Northwoods Dental Clinic we want to provide the safest care possible. We look forward to seeing you all soon, and please if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask us!

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE
At Northwoods Dental Clinic, the health and safety of our patients and staff is always a top priority.
Infection control is something we’ve always taken very seriously.
At this time our office will remain open as we closely monitor the situation. In an effort to take
proactive steps to stop the potential spread of the virus, we have implemented the following guidelines:
1. If you have a fever, cough, chills, flu like symptoms, have recently traveled to a high-risk area, or have been in close contact with someone who has been exposed please contact our office to reschedule at 715-356-6339.
2. Northwoods Dental staff has been instructed to stay home if they have any symptoms, including a fever. They have also been asked to stay home if they have recently traveled.
3. Additional office cleaning procedures to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects have been implemented to keep our office germ-free. Public touch points, such as door handles, check-in stations, and door handles will be sanitized multiple times daily.
4. If you are a patient who is immunocompromised and need emergent care we are happy to make arrangements, please contact our office for more information.
5. We are continuing to follow the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC, American Dental Association, and Wisconsin Dental Association. According to these organizations, there are no restrictions for healthy patients to receive routine and preventative dental care.
Thank you for understanding our concern for this situation. If you need to cancel or change your
dental appointment, we appreciate knowing as soon as possible. We always want to provide you
with the best dental treatment that is safe and enjoyable.

It is a great source of Calcium for your teeth!
So, what is YOUR favorite cheese!?
There are 1,440 minutes in a day, your teeth only need 4 of those minutes per day...
2 minutes in the morning and 2 minutes before bed.
Keep your smile healthy!
DENTAL TIP:
If you don't replace your tooth brush after catching a cold, the bacteria in the bristles can reinfect you and make you sick again.
