Norton Healthcare Express Services, a drive-thru outpatient medical facility, opens Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020. The unique center is located at the corner of Breckenridge Lane and Taylorsville Road, and will offer diagnostic testing, COVID-19 testing, vaccinations and lab work with a provider referral seven days a week.
“COVID-19 taught us a great deal about new ways we can provide medical care to our community, including drive-thru testing centers and expanded telehealth services,” said Russell F. Cox, president and CEO, Norton Healthcare. “We heard from our community that they liked the convenience of these drive-thru centers, so we developed a way to expand services beyond those for COVID-19 in a permanent location.”

Update: Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s medical offices and immediate care centers will open today, Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. The COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Republic Bank Foundation YMCA building at 1720 W. Broadway will open at noon. Anyone with appointment before these times will be contacted to reschedule. If you have questions about your appointment or need to reschedule, please contact your provider.

All Norton Healthcare and Norton Children's offices, including Norton Immediate Care Centers, COVID-19 vaccine clinics and COVID-19 testing centers, are closed beginning at 2:30 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 15 until further notice. If you need non-emergency care, Norton eCare will remain open. For emergencies, Norton Healthcare hospitals, Norton Children's Hospital and Norton Children's Medical Center emergency departments remain open.
All patients with appointments after 2:30 p.m. today are being rescheduled. Currently, elective surgeries remain as planned for tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 16.
