Access to our downtown hospitals and facilities remain open. We have installed temporary barriers along Floyd and Chestnut Streets painted with messages of faith and hope, however these do not block traffic or street access. As a matter of precaution, we have increased security at all of our hospital campuses.

Yolanda Duncan, coordinator, patient flow – facility, Patient Registration, Norton Hospital, is celebrating 35 years with Norton Healthcare. She started in dietary services when she was in the work-study program at Spalding University. In three months’ time, she was promoted to medical records as an intake clerk, where she stayed until 1989. She was promoted again to be the first evening unit secretary on the Ackerly Child Guidance Unit. In 1994, she started working in clinic care at Norton Children’s Hospital and in 2002, she moved to Norton Healthcare Pavilion in patient access, where she’s been ever since.
“I thank Norton Healthcare for the opportunity to raise my two children, and afford a house and other things for them,” Yolanda said.
