Merry almost Christmas! If I may steal you away from your day for just a moment, I'd like to take that minute to simply say: THANK YOU! Obviously, 2020 was a very difficult year for so many, from individuals and families, to businesses large and small- and local. As you may know, we pride ourselves on what we feel are unmatched catering and events services. Finding ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic all but shut down any sort of gathering for the better part of the year and in turn, our entire core business. We had a decision to make this past Spring: Shut it all down or adjust until the world returns to the way we knew it and we could all gather again. You already know the decision that we made, and it's been, in an odd way, sort of wonderful. We've had the honor and privilege to continue to do what we love to do by cooking for so many of you and your families. And it is to YOU that we owe all our gratitude. You have supported us (and the local growers and owners that we source from) all year, ordering holiday meals and Stay Healthy dinners week-after-week. We cannot express how grateful we all are for your continued support. Thank you. I want to end in acknowledgement of our incredible team. They've been working extremely hard each and every day (and night) to make sure our clients' experiences are as perfect as can be. After discussing with them, we've collectively decided to take the holidays off so that we all can spend the time relaxing and decompressing with our families. So, Nosh will be closed from Christmas Day through the New Year. We'll return the week of January 4th looking toward 2021 with some new surprises for you! We will have our Stay Healthy dinner that week (Jan 7) and our menu will be posted early (Mon., Dec 28) for that Thursday's orders. Dear friends of Nosh, Last night, I received notification that a member of our staff may have come into contact with someone who was exposed to COVID-19. While we are not required to shut down and although no one on our staff has actually tested positive or is exhibiting any symptoms, I felt it in the best interest of your health and safety as well as that of our hard-working team, to play it safe and temporarily suspend service this week. In the past year, we have had to pivot so many times and YOU have supported us the entire way. Without your endless support and patience with all of our changes, we simply could not have sustained this long. Other caterers were not as fortunate as we have been, frankly, and we owe that all to you.
