A family is the basic foundation of every society. If one is from a happy home, then most
likely he’ll be a key in creating a happy society. But if he has dysfunctional family, it may lead
him to be a problem in our community. This is what Notre Dame Family Center was built for.
The Notre Dame Centre is a national voluntary organisation founded in 1931. We provide
support to all children, young people and families who need our help. It is our mission to
contribute to the building up of integrated human beings capable of taking their place as
members of the family and society. The Centre was set up in response to local need and is
renowned for its innovative and successful approach to the treatment of children and young
people with emotional & behavioural problems. We conduct marriage and adolescence
counselling, affective disorder; anxiety depression, ADDH and alcohol/drug counselling,
psychological testing and evaluation, and value and religious/moral conflicts counselling.
We have a wide range of training courses for all those working with children and young
people and they can be provided within the Center or on an outreach basis. We can also
provide bespoke courses to address the particular needs of your staff group.
