Physical exfoliation includes brushes, sponges, gloves, scrubs, hydrafacials, dermaplaning & microdermabrasion. Chemical exfoliation is another great way to break down the “glue” that holds dead skin cells together. Most common types of chemical exfoliator are alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta-hydroxy acids, (BHA), and poly-hydroxy acids (PHAs). Make sure not to over exfoliate though. Start off with once a week with at home treatments/masks. Cell turnover happens every 28+ days so make sure to visit your aesthetician for a professional treatment once a month!"
