Board certified in child neurology, Nwanneka Adoma Okolo, MD is a pediatric neurologist. Dr. Okolo serves as the Director of Pediatric Neurology at Staten Island University Hospital and is an Assistant Professor in both the departments of pediatrics and neurology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Okolo received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She then completed two residencies, one in pediatric neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and the other in neurology at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Following her residencies, Dr. Okolo completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Okolo has clinical focus in epilepsy in pediatric neurology. She is an active member of the Child Neurology Society.
