🇺🇸 Veterans Day is around the corner and we want to express our sincere gratitude to all of the men and women who have served our country! For the third year we will be donating dental services to veterans in need during the week of Veterans Day. If you or someone you know may qualify, please give our office a call at (708) 687-0100
👻🎃🍭Although Trick-or-Treating will probably look very different this year, one thing is sure: there will be plenty of excess candy after Halloween! Oak Forest Family Dental is hoping to get some of this excess sugar off the streets with our 2nd annual Halloween Candy Buyback. This year we have partnered with Soldier’s Angels and their Treats for Troops program which provides care packages including candies and other treats to deployed service members and veterans. On November 2nd and 3rd from 8am to 4:30pm, kids can trade extra candy for more tooth-friendly treats like games or art supplies (while they last). Please call ahead or when you arrive at the office to drop-off so we can meet you at the door and ensure social distancing. After collecting, we will package and ship the candy to Soldier’s Angels for distribution. Especially during the tough year we've had, it's important to celebrate all we have to be thankful for. At the top of my list -- extra time spent with family, innovative ways to keep in touch with friends, and of course my amazing team and patients who make Oak Forest Family Dental possible! I really am in awe of the hard work and dedication of my team these past few months. They have met every challenge to create and implement the safety protocols necessary to re-open our office. And at a time when many are feeling "pandemic fatigue" they have increased their diligence so we can continue to safely deliver excellent dental care. They are just incredible, and I couldn't be more thankful for them!
