The District will move to a school-based hybrid instructional model starting on Monday, September 21st.
A huge shout out to the guys at Safe and Sound Integrations for ensuring that our internet was strong and ready today! You did an amazing job and we could not be more thankful for all you did to make our first day run so smoothly! You said it would work great, and it did!

trick or treat event on Friday, October 30th at 9:30 am. Please check the classroom doors for more information or stop by the front desk.
Parent volunteers are also needed to make our event a success!

and Christmas Parties are this Friday! Please send your child to school dressed in weather appropriate pajamas and comfortable shoes. It is sure to be a fun filled day!
A stretch on our traditional Christmas party for our staff, but we enjoyed some shared time, exchanging gifts, a delicious lunch from Honey Baked Ham and yummy desert from the Bird family. Toss in a few games and door prizes and it felt quite festive. Happy to have the chance to celebrate the season together ❤🎄🎁

Fun Fact Friday!
It was a wearing of the green today in 4B. Loads of fun and lots of smiles!
After watching the latest update from the National Weather Service we have decided that Oakbrook CDC will close at 2:00 pm tomorrow, March 18th.
Closing early will allow all staff and families the opportunity to make it safely home before the worst of the weather arrives. Thank you for your understanding and support. Please be safe tomorrow.
