The photos and experiences captured here are lasting reflections of our team’s recent choice to get the COVID-19 vaccine (now on round 2). They also help to document our confidence and support of the science behind it. On a personal note: Our doctors, midwives, nurse practitioners, and staff aren’t just your medical team. We are parents, sisters, daughters, brothers, and friends. We live in your community, use seatbelts and child car seats, have home smoke alarms, and follow a healthy lifestyle. Like these preventive steps, getting vaccinated protects us, the people in our lives, and the community. Getting this vaccine makes our community stronger. Know that we’re here to answer your questions about the COVID vaccine with answers backed by the latest medical knowledge.

Oakdale Dietitian Kim Plessel says, "As we embark on the New Year, it isn't uncommon to be flooded with diet advice or to make new resolutions for our health. As we continue to learn about the power of nutrition, one theme continues to emerge - quality matters. Regardless of calories or macros, let's focus our efforts on eating whole, real food. As the New York Times article highlights, our day-to-day food choices can dramatically impact our gut microbiome, which in turn impacts our health. Small, sustainable improvements add up over time."
