Obie Comfort Solutions is a local, family-owned and-operated business that specializes in air conditioning, heating, plumbing, and indoor air quality. The company was founded in 2006 by Oberlan Rosa and his wife, Linda. The couple are dedicated to Obie Comfort Solutions’ success. Oberlan would come home from a full day of working in the field while Linda would return from a full-time corporate job followed by full-time night school to dream about the business. They would settle in at a computer tucked into a corner of their bedroom to work on paperwork and strategize about how to make their goals achievable.
Thanks to a growing and devoted customer base, the company has enjoyed noted success. After consistently providing excellent customer service and satisfaction and securing an expanding group of dedicated team members, Obie Comfort Solutions moved out of the owners’ home and into a small shop. In 2012, we acquired a larger shop which serves as our current location of 82 Herbert Street.
Another exciting event for the business was to welcome Linda to the team full-time. In 2013, she left her corporate career of 11 years to join forces with Oberlan once again. The husband-wife team is solid. Linda manages all aspects of the office which allows Oberlan to focus on field operations.
While the business was expanding, the Rosa family was also growing. The couple’s first son was born six months after the birth of their business. Their fourth son was born 2 ½ months after Linda joined the company full-time. The Rosa boys are not strangers to the shop and can occasionally be heard in the background. The youngest son accompanies Linda to work each day.
Family is important to Obie Comfort Solutions. Our diverse team includes over 11 families. Because we live, work, and raise our children in this area, we consider our clients more than just customers. Our clients are our neighbors, our friends, our community, and most importantly, our extended family, and we treat them as such.
