We were voted “Best Comedy Team” by the readers of Connect Savannah in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. But, y’know, its whatever. We’re not counting. Now in its seventh year, Odd Lot has proven itself an integral piece in the Savannah theater scene as well as the city’s ever growing and changing cultural sphere. The group officially began in 2008, under the name of the “Literary Improv League”. Since then, Odd Lot has grown, expanded, and absorbed quite a lot. Now boasting a rotating cast of 20+ performers, comedians, and musicians, Odd Lot has branched out into murder mysteries, short films, public appearances, and we even wrote and performed our own musical! With plenty more fun stuff on the way, be sure to check out what Savannah’s favorite improv comedy team is doing next. You’ll never know where we might show up.
Odd Lot’s weekly stage show on Mondays is weekly improv shows in the same vein as “Whose Line is it Anyway?”. Built around a series of improv games, the show relies on audience suggestions to put the players into hilarious characters and scenes to drive the show forward. On Saturdays there is a second act that will include long form improv.
