Sometimes we forget that in order to keep creating, we must honor the change which clears things out.
Creation is our dialogue with the universe. But change is a fundamental part of the process. Change + creation are two sides of the same coin to be celebrated, always.

The work doesn't end here. Yoga means union. Oneness. And more than anything, this election has shown us that this is not a nation of unity.
While there may be much to celebrate, the call for action stays at the forefront of our minds, hearts, and intentions.
The true separation of our country has been revealed as clearly as it can be, and as long as there is separation, there will be injustice, violence, fear, inequality, and so on. If we truly want a peaceful world, it starts with the realization that this is only the beginning of the real fight.
This is life now: every day is a call to stand up for what is right. Even when we're tired, even when we wish it were over, even when we'd rather relax and celebrate.
How can we create a lifestyle that keeps us healthy and fulfilled, so that we can make a better world without threatening our wellbeing?
The need of the time is still CHANGE. We're in it till the end 💛

✨This week's journal prompt ✨ A chance to look within, to expand, to learn, to grow.
Think of something that you're holding on too tightly to.
✦ What is it?
✦ What does it feel like to hold on so tightly? In your body? in your mind?
✦ If this something works out your way, what will it bring to your life?
✦ If this something doesn't work out your way, what will happen to your life?
✦ What if you knew, for certain, that you would be okay, no matter what happened with this something? How would your life change? How would you feel? What kind of person would you be? How would your approach shift?
Why do we journal?
Journaling is an exercise that helps us expand our awareness. By contemplating on these types of questions, we challenge the confines of our perspective, which is necessary if we desire more awareness.
The point of journaling is not to arrive at set answers and conclusions. But simply to ask the questions in the first place. To sit with whatever emotions, thoughts, and sensations come up.

On the most basic level, what is it that carries you through the good times and bad? YOUR BODY. Our body is our vessel, and taking care of it can be simple if we listen. We have to learn how to listen to the voice of the body, which exists on a much subtler layer beneath the loud voice of the mind.
What does your body actually want to eat?
How does your body actually want to move?
What does your body want to feel?
What does your body want to experience?
How does your body perceive this unique moment in time?
Our vessels are capable of far more than we have yet tapped in to. Pure infinity moves through the container of our bodies.... Isn't that magical?!

Our 200 Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training is uniquely heavy in yoga philosophy and the Vedic perspective. 💃 The body is always present — it can't exist in the past or the future. It can only exist in the right here, right now. Can you tap into that?
🕺 The body processes — in many different ways. Just like it converts our food into energy, it can convert our thoughts into creation, or emotions into growth. What is your body processing right now across its layers?
🏄♀️ Our body is constantly having a conversation with us. It's speaking to us in signals like thirst, hunger, inflammation, butterflies, fatigue... Are you actively listening? And how are you responding?
Because we live in these bodies day in and day out, we easily take them for granted. We can forget the miracle that they are. Today let's take a moment to acknowledge the intelligence of our vessels 🚀
