Urgent... Forever home or rescue needed. Two sweet seniors lost their person, after being in and out of hospital for more than a year now left alone in the home for extended periods of time. Tracy, owner’s daughter goes by to feed them. A single mother of 2, with pets of her own, limited employment and dealing with the loss of her Mother has been has been hard.
Fussy, is estimated to be 10 years old with a heart murmur and only weighs 7.3 lbs.
Bubby, is estimated to be 8 to 10 years old and weighs in at 19.1 lbs.
Both neutered males, current on vaccines and tested negative for feline leukemia/aids.
Indoor only, No dogs or small children that might want to love on them a little too hard like children sometimes do. They got along with other cats in the home.
A bonded pair, these boys love to cuddle together & look outside from a window perch. They don’t understand what has happened to the life they had & miss their human companion.
Praying for a loving, forever home or rescue that can help.
Located in Walkertown, NC (close to Winston-Salem)
Please, if you can help these boys contact Tracy by phone or text at: (336) 671-3903.

VA-MD Vet Med cardiology researchers are seeking at least 35 more Cavalier King Charles spaniels to meet their goal of enrolling 140 heart-healthy Cavaliers. Enrollment will likely remain open until this summer in order to compensate for the data lost during the COVID suspension.
Cavaliers eligible for the study must be 1-5 years of age and heart healthy (with neither a murmur nor a quiet murmur) and, if enrolled, will be followed until September 2022. At the end of 2020, 300 dogs have been screened and 105 enrolled, which approaches the goal of 120 enrollments.
To learn more about the study, contact Mindy Quigley, clinical trials coordinator, at 540-231-1363 or mindyq@vt.edu or visit https://www.vetmed.vt.edu/clinical-trials/current-studies/cavalier.asp.

Rocco has had plenty of time to practice his pensive look having been in foster care for a year now with no applications.
He is three years old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. His adoption comes with a free month of pet insurance.
He has not been around children or dogs, but there's no reason to believe that he wouldn't adjust with a gradual introduction. He does enjoy the company of other cats.
Rocco is a kitty that has fallen - through no fault of his own - by the wayside. We're hoping this post changes all that because this is a boy that would be a touchdown in any household.
If you'd like further information on this intelligent, loving soul, contact his foster at ncbeanie1@aol.com.
