The freezing rain has made for some treacherous road conditions and the Lexington Police Department is asking everyone to PLEASE NOT TRAVEL UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
Road crews and first responders have been busy throughout the night and early morning responding to numerous calls of icy limbs and power lines that have fallen on vehicles and roadways.
