No seats at any bar in NJ.
We have set up high tops at the sidepiece for “bar” customers to sit at. Everyone is welcome. These tables are over 8 feet apart, we have open windows all around and we have heat.... it will be nice and comfortable. The original Gators has tables in both rooms (over 7 feet apart) and our restaurant/bar is just a restaurant, you can order and receive drinks at your table. Both places are obviously limited seating(25%) and we will always have outdoor seating at both places. Come check out the sidepiece, if you haven’t already.

This is our Thanksgiving dinner for two. Sliced Turkey Breast, homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. We give you some seasoning to pour in before cooking. These packages will be ready for pickup Wednesday 11/25 (or Tuesday if needed). All you have to do is pour our flavored seasoning over the Turkey, cover and heat in your oven for 40 minutes (instructions will be included). You can do side/apps or dessert, We’ll take care of Thanksgiving meal. These Must Be Preordered.

$500 received yesterday, $200 more late last night from an anonymous kind person. We have families in Haddon heights responding with gifts and money, people Venmoing (that word didn’t exist a few years ago 😂) money, people reaching out letting us know more presents are being dropped off today, Saturday and Sunday. We have until Tuesday to Fill-The-Bar with gifts. You people are Awesome!!! Our staff is excited to go out with donations to buy gifts.... it is a win, win for everyone.
Only area we need help with is helping families with Christmas Eve meals. I had four people reach out for family members they know & they will be taken care of. If you know of anyone who this would help please message me privately. We have had people donate food, so we will add that to their holiday meal. Thank You All! Great start.

A Huge Thank You to all of you that made
This toy drive So Successfull. Between cash donated and gifts dropped off I’m sure it was over $4,000 - and that was in 4 days basically. First post was last Thursday, toys delivered Tuesday. We had a few families come in Tuesday morning to do some “shopping” for their kids/family, which was awesome.
When we dropped off ALL of the rest to St Vincent/Mt Carmel their response and appreciation was emotional. I wish every one of you that took the time to buy, and those that sent/gave money could have seen that & felt that. They said they had too many families this year to help. Before we showed up they were not sure how they were going to help many of them. We delivered enough gifts for MANY families.
It truly did flip-the-script of 2020.
So nice to focus on the positives, people caring and giving. Merry Christmas- Happy Holidays - and

The longest post and the most pictures. The pictures tell the story (the puppy is added because he’s cute). One year ago today. Thanks everyone 😁🐊
It’s been one year since Covid restrictions. Ollie Gators (& every restaurant and bar) closed at 8pm March 16th for roughly two weeks. Three months later we began opening back up with many challenges and restrictions (many restrictions still in effect today - one year later.... that’s the longest two weeks of my life 😂).
On St Patty’s day 2020, instead of preparing for a very busy day, we opened for take out, delivery and Ollie Gators became a limited grocery store. We had (and could supply) sliced meats, fresh chicken, eggs, milk, bread and toilet paper. All of the kitchen staff stayed employed. All of the bartenders stopped working (couldn’t make drinks), but they and our servers came to help when needed. One amazing thing from those months of Covid shutdown, we did not lose a single employee. All cooks, servers, hostesses and bartenders came back. There were many texts, phone calls and drop-by’s keeping all of us connected while we were separated. What an amazing staff we have. We’re So fortunate to go through all of this with them.
There are so many Firsts (for a restaurant and bar to have first obstacles/challenges and responsibilities after 20 years.....). We became a grocery store, open only for take out & delivery, cleaning and sanitizing as well as single use menus/condiments/ salt & pepper etc, big tent & tables in our parking lot, serving tables outside only, opening the sidepiece to continue to service our customers (two locations, 50 yards apart - Wow). Meal packages (Easter, Cinco De Mayo, Christmas),
Using the bar top as storage for Christmas presents for families in need as well as thank you cards for nurses at Virtua. Those last two required so much giving from our Great customer base.
Speaking of our great customers: so many of you placed food orders (not just because we have great food), many of you were doing it to help us. One couple came almost every Saturday, placed an order and tipped the bill. So much positive feed back and encouragement during those months. Then the two times we asked for help - to help others - and you showed up BIG. Dropping off the “thank you” cards to the nurses was amazing and emotional. Hundreds of cards, kids drawings, pictures and letters. For Christmas we started a toy drive and within 4 days you all showed up with clothes, cards, books, lots of cash (which allowed our employees to go out and shop, making their Christmas more meaningful) and gifts. Not dollar store gifts, but real (and some pretty expensive) toys which helped many families. If you could have seen the staff at the church when we delivered ALL the gifts. They told me days later that we/you had helped So many families during a very rough year. I, we, can not be more appreciative of the awesome group of people we consider customers, friends and family.
And all of our staff either helped when they could, stopped by to chat, called or texted (because they had Covid concerns for their families) or worked. But we all stayed in touch.
We, as managers (Paul, Ron & Gabe), had to change our job description entirely. We were managers of a restaurant and bar with customers. On March 17th we became kitchen only employees. Cook, clean, takeout & delivery for 3 months. That’s a big change. We’re used to walking around and talking to you.
So I, we, can see the light at the end of the tunnel today. We’re seeing more and more of you out and coming back to Gators. We’re still doing a lot of takeout, which we truly appreciate, but we also love seeing you here.
It’s been as difficult and challenging a year as we could imagine. But as is slowly ending I am sure we will remember all the generosity, all the loyalty of our customers and our staff. We will make it till 2022 and many years longer than that, thanks to SO many who cared and helped along the way. Whatever piece you gave to us during this Covid year - a few orders, cards, gifts and support. It is very much appreciated and that will be our lasting memory.

It’s also national cheesesteak day. Pats & Ginos are known for their cheesesteaks, but ours are really good too and Much closer. High quality meat & Deluxe Bakery Italian roll makes all the difference. We’re heading down the Hump till the weekend. Friday Happy Hour with Billy “the kid” & Dom. Saturday night is Us & Them (Pink Floyd cover). A weekend of young and Very talented musicians.

Super Saturday.... Beer Garden today @ the Berlin Mart. It’s community day and they’re honoring the Police, Firefighters and First Responder 11-5pm.
