Today we celebrated the life of K-9 Anakin.
A special thanks too all who attended his memorial service this morning and all of those who sent their regards and condolences.
Anakin served our department and the community for seven years. With his handlers Chase Bouziden and Robert McFadden, Anakin took hundreds of pounds of narcotics off the streets and helped apprehend dozens of bad guys.
Following his retirement, Anakin spent the rest of his life with the Bouziden family and took on the responsibility of caring for two beautiful little girls.
Thank you Anakin for your service. We will always remember you.
