In August of 1994, IBM released the first handheld, touch screen PDA. Between August of 94 and February of 95, IBM sold approximately 50,000 units.
These devices couldn't really do all the things our phones can today, but they could check email AND send faxes! Crazy to think that 26 years ago, IBM was making touch screen phones!
