Dr. Bivens pursued Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as a career path in order to fulfill his desires to embellish beauty and balance of the body. He attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate and Medical School. While at the University of Florida his research experiences in microvascular surgery and silicone gel implants paved the way for his interest and dedication to Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. His training in General Surgery was completed at New York Medical College Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. Plastic Surgery training was done at the University of California San Diego where he specialized in Cosmetic Surgery, Breast Surgery and Body Contouring.
Dr. Bivens has made several appearances on Bravo TV's hit show The Real Housewives of Orange County.
