Patient sent in these old 3D printed frames of ours for repairs and new lenses.
Converted an old Corona beer bucket into a pot for a lavender plant to commemorate this crazy 2020 year so far.
Added a germicidal UV light to the pre-testing room. After researching the effects, I'd say the duration of exposure and elevation of the light shouldn't be harmful to our patients, but they can always opt out. @ Optoid Print3d Eyewear
The air conditioner turned air filter wasn't letting me use the air conditioner itself, so I devised a new way to filter the air in the exam room for the safety of our patients using a carbon pad, a HEPA filter, an inline exhaust fan, and a Can Filter I got originally to filter noxious paint fumes. @ Optoid Print3d Eyewear
A patient asked us to duplicate a pair of glasses they liked that broke. #3dprinting #print3d #3dprint #3dprintedglasses #optometry #glasses #eyewear

Used the levitating pot for an orchid. After about more than a year, it's blooming again.
After several issues, finally fixed the visual acuity chart myself and properly calibrated it too.
Starting 2021 with the digital visual acuity chart's harddrive suddenly shorting out and needing to be replaced 🤦♂️
Old 3D printed frame retouched and finished with prescription lenses.
Unusual chorioretinal pigmentary dystrophy. Patient was a 55yo female of African descent. She was previously seen by a retinal specialist who diagnosed her with retinitis pigmentosa, but amazingly her best corrected visual acuity was OD 20/20 OS 20/20. I personally speculated this could be serpiginous retinopathy. Referred her out to @brooklyneyecenter for evaluation and probably fluorescein angiography.
